Online Registration For Spring 2009 Coming Soon!
The Communities That We Serve Our boundaries encompass some of the most beautiful landscapes and communities of Marin: San Anselmo, Fairfax, Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls, Lagunitas, Nicasio, Olema, Point Reyes, Inverness, Stinson Beach and Bolinas. Our fields for 2009 include Central Field and Lefty Gomez in Fairfax, Love Field and Point Reyes School in Point Reyes, and the new field at Red Hill in San Anselmo. Each of our teams shares a home field and travels to "away" games at other fields within our boundaries. Dedicated baseball-fan volunteers in each community maintain the fields, using funds raised by the League. West Marin Little League is Run Entirely By Volunteers
We
welcome parents and community members to join us. It’s lots of fun. It
enriches our lives and the lives of kids, who get the wonderful
experience of playing Little League baseball here in West Marin. Several West Marin Little League Board members are graduating out of the league as their players enter high school, and it is a great time to get involved and bring your energy and ideas to our league. Some of the great volunteer opportunities include: Secretary;
Treasurer; Registrar; Field Maintenance heads; Umpire Coordinator; and
more. For many of the Board/Volunteer openings, you can start as an assistant to
a current board member for Spring 2009 season to learn the ropes. The
current holders of the outgoing positions will all be happy to train
you and support you, making it easy and fun to get involved. Please let us know how you can get involved. We offer an exciting, fun co-ed instructional league for kids ages 5 to 14. The goal of our program is for kids to develop a love of the game, make new friends, learn new baseball skills, and experience the rewards of being on a team. Our divisions include:
“League Age” for the 2009 season is the player’s age on or before April 30, 2009. All ages referenced on this website refer to a player's "League Age." League age determines the division(s) in which a child is eligible to play. If a child is eligible to play in more than one division, he/she is assigned to a division based on skill level as determined during Player Evaluations. The minimum age to start T-Ball is 5 and the maximum age for Majors is 12. Juniors are limited to 13 and 14 year olds. You can download a league age chart from our website's handouts page. The Fall Ball season is based on 2009 League age.
